Hi.

I'm Kristina, just another twenty-something girl. I'm living life, making mistakes & learning a lot along the way.

So girl, fill up your wine glass and come along for the ride!

Great Hostess Gifts

Great Hostess Gifts

If you're not hosting, you’re probably off to a friend or family member's house this week! And while it's a good idea year round, you should definitely bring a little hostess gift during the holiday season. Remember that this doesn't need to be anything big, just a lil' something something to say "Thanks for feeding me!"

Here are a few ideas you can still pull together before your Christmas plans that won't break the bank!

1. Wine

Wine is almost always a good idea! A few exceptions - pregnant ladies, alcoholics and ... well, that's all I've got! If you know their favorite or what the menu will be, buy based on that. If not, choose one of your favorites.

Dress it up with a super cute wine bag like this!

2. Flowers

Flowers are the best way I know to instantly make a house feel like home. At Christmas time though, definitely look for some holiday choices! Poinsettias, red roses or even getting out of the box with cute goodies like wreaths or mini Christmas trees! My favorite place to grab flowers that are beautiful and reasonably priced is Trader Joe's.

 3. Recipe Enhancers

Simple homemade additives that your hostess can keep around to snazzy up her recipes are perfect! Herb butters, scented sugars and infused oils are all easy but look SUPER impressive. To make your own, layer sugar with edible aromatics like vanilla beans, lemon or cinnamon sticks in a pretty, clear jar and seal it up tight! This sweet sugar will add a little something extra to their coffee and baking.

 4. Candles

Candles are always a safe choice! Voluspa are my absolute favorite but are a little pricey and can be a bit challenging to find. These candles from World Market smell delicious and are only $9.99 right now. Bath and Body Works also has great sales on their yummy, yummy candles this time of year. Their wall flowers are awesome hostess gifts too.

5. Bath Sets

Hosting is stressful! So some luxurious bath bombs she can relax with after all the visitors go home is a perfect choice. Lush's bath bombs are the BEST! But again, a little pricey and hard to find if you don't live near a Lush store.

Ulta has a lot of great choices like this Philosophy set in fresh cream. Mmmm!

Tomorrow night I'll be heading to Christmas Eve dinner at a friend's house! I know my girlfriend loves to bake, so here's the little hostess gift I came up with for her!

I grabbed all of these at Target today. And then just made a little sugar cookie mason jar set so she's ready to go when it comes time to bake them.

Not everything I picked up at Target today is available online, but shop below for some great items to make a baking set of your own! With hostess gifts like these you're sure to be asked back time and time again!

Happy Holidays!

XO
Kristina Corinne
